About Me
Kimberly Delcourt, MSW, LCSW
Hi! Thanks for visiting my page. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed in the State of Indiana. I graduated from Indiana University in South Bend with a Master's Degree in Social Work and adhere to the National Association of Social Work (NASW) Code of Ethics. I am a Certified EMDR Clinician and full member of the Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association (EMDRIA).
As a clinician, I hope to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters and help you feel better. If you are looking into therapy, there has likely been something that has happened to you, or to a loved one, that has changed you. I cannot change what has happened, but together, it may be possible to change how you feel about what has happened in your life. I truly care about my clients’ well-being and strive to provide psychotherapy services catering to your specific needs. I know first hand that therapy is hard, and facing difficulties in life is a challenge; however, therapy doesn't have to be miserable! It is my hope that therapy can become one of the best parts of your week and you will look forward to your sessions.
My social work career has given me a diverse background and allows me to bring to the therapeutic setting a great deal of knowledge, life experience, and information I can continue to draw from to help you heal. I have worked on a locked-secure unit in residential treatment, in a community mental health center with children and adolescents, at a local hospice, and have been in private practice for over five years. I can now say I have worked with client's from birth to 106 years old! In all of my work, I use a client-centered, strengths-based therapy approaches.
I utilize EMDR Therapy as well as other effective, evidenced-based psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding and work to help you heal on your life journey.
